Traditionally, surgeons need to take a lot of radiological images during the entire surgical procedures, exposing both patients and surgeons to radiation. Surgeons then have to turn their head numerous times to refer to it. With Foresee-X’s real-time images with the medical image processing box, doctors are able to focus 100% on the patient, reduce surgical time and make smaller incisions during surgeries. Additionally, the Foresee-X has the ability to be connected to various standard medical devices like ultrasound, endoscope, navigation systems, and more.

Besides of the surgical glasses, Taiwan’s finest medical equipment innovations were also exemplified by these companies:

Faspro System’s Wireless Medical Camera, a hands free camera that combines optical design with image processing system to provide doctors with comprehensive surgery and screening data;

Crystalvue Medial’s TonoVue, an automated non-contact tonometer that can track the eye center and calculate the IOP automatically with just tap of a button;

Mediland Enterprise’s Hyper Light Disinfection Robot, utilizes UVGI disinfection method to eradicate 99.99% in 5 to 15 minutes;

IEI Integration’s Body Temperature Monitoring Solution, the first company to combine body temperature monitoring with facial recognition function to make it easier to track a person with high temperature;

Quanta Computer’s Wireless Stethoscope, which can diagnose a patient’s lung state without touching the patient’s body, reducing contact and thus infection rates among medical personnel.
