Sunway Sanctuary upscale senior living facility to open in 2023 in Kuala Lumpur
Sunway Healthcare Group (Sunway Healthcare) is set to launch its flagship senior living residence in response to increasing demand for an exclusive and opulent senior living community in the Klang Valley. Sunway Sanctuary is a meticulously designed township with accessibility and convenience as its priorities, and is part of the greater Sunway City Kuala Lumpur.
Sunway Sanctuary will be open to the public in April 2023 – bookings will be open by end-2022.
The facility comprises 473 units with 24/7 concierge assistance, delectable dining, professional housekeeping and laundry services, maintenance services, IT support, round-the-clock security as well as one-on-one personalised services for various activities and tasks, such as a personal wellness coordinator for a more targeted and customised approach to lifestyle enrichment.
“Our goal is to be the epitome of comfort and luxury for senior living, a product that offers homely living with exceptional service, convenience, security, and most importantly, quality healthcare,” said Dato’ Lau Beng Long, President of Sunway Healthcare Group.
“As one of Malaysia’s leading private healthcare providers with more than two decades of experience and expertise in the health and wellness sector, we have an extremely robust infrastructure and resources we can leverage to provide excellent healthcare support.”
Six key pillars form the basis of Sunway Sanctuary: convenient location, holistic wellness, curated activities, thoughtful amenities, elegant living, and quality healthcare.
Apart from the focus on holistic wellness, the project will house a wellness centre with healthcare personnel to provide comprehensive clinical assistance including Traditional Chinese Medicine services.
For emergency cases, the residents will be referred to Sunway Medical Centre which is annexed to Sunway Sanctuary.
“Our wealth of knowledge, coupled with the insights we have gained from countries with more mature senior living options like Australia and Japan, will establish a blueprint for Sunway Sanctuary to set a new standard for senior care in Malaysia,” said Dato’ Lau.
