Creating a healthier lifestyle beyond the pandemic with Taiwanese healthcare
2021 has seen the spill over of the Covid-19 pandemic and the fight against virus rages on. And although the pandemic has curtailed many businesses activities, exchange and cooperation between the Taiwanese and Malaysian medical community has carried on. With a theme centred around “Smart Medical”, the Bureau of Foreign Trade, Taiwan (R.O.C) along with Taiwan External Trade Development Council will hold an online conference titled “Taiwan and Malaysia, Joining Hands in Bringing Greater Health to Life” on 28 July.
The webinar will be divided into two sessions, namely Advanced Medical Specialties and Smart Healthcare Solutions.

During this online showcase, attendees will be able to look forward to the Advanced Medical Specialties session, showcasing new advances & technologies from six reputable Taiwanese hospitals, including Chang Gung Memorial Hospital’s proton therapy for cancer treatment that has high success rate and low side effects and National Taiwan University Hospital Hsin-Chu Branch’s virtual consultation services in combination with otoscope, nasopharyngoscopy, ultrasound and other instruments for real-time dynamic examinations.
Also to be featured are Shin Kong Wu Ho Su Memorial Hospital’s one-stop health examination services and advanced screening; Huanlien Tzu Chi Hospital’s regenerative therapy for spinal cord injury and heart surgery; Landseed International Hospital’s multinational remote consultations and emergency medical transportation; as well as National Cheng Kung University Hospital’s long-term medical and health exchange program with countries around the world.
The event will also include the Smart Healthcare Solutions session, featuring five smart medical technology service providers, who will be focusing on the latest smart innovations in the medical field. Presentations include: Chiun Mai Communication Systems’ FusionAir- Intelligent Indoor Purification System that comprises a powerful purification capability with an AI system to reduce the risk of bacterial and viral infection.
Others are: Insight Medical Solutions’ world’s first magnetically controlled capsule endoscope capable of completely examining the upper digestive tract (EGD); TaiHao Medical’s breast cancer ultrasound diagnosis system that assists physicians in early detection of tumors; OmQi Biotechnology’s Quantum Biotech Cloud Health Management System that recharges your health; and Wel-Bloom Bio Tech’s integrated and comprehensive health food services.
