RingMD brings Healthcare online through smartphones and computers

Healthcare network RingMD developed a web and mobile app that will allow online consultations between doctors and patients. RingMD offers a solution to patients who are too far from a hospital or who are too busy to travel to one. The app is free on Google Play and the App Store.

The app also provides a complimentary Q&A service for patients who wish to submit a medical query and have it answered by qualified physician.

How the app works:

1. Select a Doctor and Schedule an Appointment – patients choose a physician by speciality, identify their symptoms and suggest appointment times

2. Receive Medical Advice – the doctor confirms appointment and perform online consultation via phone/video call over RingMD’s platform

3. Pay securely – the patient pays via credit card which is processed through a secure payment gateway

The RingMD platform provides a range of options for effective patient care. Patients can choose their ideal doctor based on their qualifications, language skills, location or price range.

It is possible to securely share medical files and test results via the platform. All data is protected by SSL technology and SHA-256 encryption – which are on a par with the technology used by banks to keep their assets safe.
