According to a study that Avoiding rush hour traffic could curb your exposure to air pollution, thereby reducing risk of developing heart diseases or preventing worsening of existing heart diseases, a study has suggested.
The researchers observe that obese people and those with diabetes may be at higher risk of the cardiovascular effects of pollution, while air pollutants may exacerbate and instigate the development of risk factors such as high blood pressure and impaired insulin sensitivity.
He also said, Avoid walking and cycling in streets with high traffic intensity and major traffic roads should be avoided while exercising.
