Medical Fair Asia to host first Medicine + Sports Conference Asia

The 11th Medical Fair Asia will be hosting the first Medicine + Sports Conference in Asia. The fair is a three-day event to be held on August 31 to September 2, 2016 in Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. The conference will be held on September 1, starting at 10 am.

The conference will bring together sports medicine experts, healthcare providers, physicians, fitness trainers and industry players from around the world to discuss innovations in sports medicine and pertinent healthcare challenges specific to Asia and the Southeast Asian region.

Attendees of the Asian conference will be able to join in as eminent speakers from the industry will share on main topics such as disease prevention, fitness guidelines, and the newest fitness gadgets.

One of the event’s keynote speakers is Dr Ben Tan. His original research covers sports medicine and sports science, and has been published in international peer reviewed journals and presented at international conferences.

He is also the author of the books, “The Complete Introduction to Laser Racing,” and “Fight the Fat – What You Must Know and Do to Lose Weight,” and “Run for Your Life! – the Complete Marathon Guide.”

Medicine + Sports Asia is organized by Navispace in cooperation with the Sports Medicine Association Singapore (SMAS), Exercise is Medicine Singapore (EiMS), FIMS (International Sports Medicine Association), WT Wearable Technologies and Messe Düsseldorf Asia.

The Asian conference is based on Medica Medicine + Sports Conference. Medica is an annual fair held in Düsseldorf, Germany and is the largest medical trade fair in the world.
