Dr Reddy’s Institute launched web portals to build on new ideas

Dr. Reddy’s Institute of Life Sciences (DRILS) recently launched “Innovate in India”, an interactive web portal that helps develop ideas to products and services.

DRILS plans to help innovators through mentoring, funding, and pilot-testing. The institute is located in University of Hyderabad and is a public-private partnership (PPP) projects by the university, the Andhra Pradesh government, and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd.

‘Innovate in India’ ideas were presented during ‘DRILS Synergy 2015’, a day-long symposium organised to foster “industry academia ecosystem”.

DRILS Synergy 2015 was attended by industry leaders and academia to discuss opportunities to build a culture of innovation and translational research in India.

In the symposium, two panel discussions were held broadly covering the larger topics of ‘synergistic Industry academic ecosystem’ and
‘De-risking innovation and gearing up for the future: A perspective in the life sciences’
