Cambodia cracks down on unregistered sexual enhancement productsThe Cambodian Ministry of Health has taken action against two Phnom Penh-based businesses for advertising and selling unregistered sexual enhancement products online. The ministry warned that these substances pose serious heart health risks and could be life-threatening.

In a February 25 statement, the ministry identified Super XL and Amour as containing Sildenafil, a banned pharmaceutical ingredient used for erectile dysfunction. Authorities urged the public to stop using these products immediately.

The ministry stressed that libido-enhancing products sold online lack approval and often contain pharmaceutical substances that can be dangerous. Businesses and individuals have been ordered to halt the import, sale, and distribution of these unregistered products or face strict legal consequences under drug control laws.

Legal action has already been taken against two locations in Phnom Penh, with cases filed and individuals referred to court for prosecution.
