Caffeine may Help Prevent Alzheimer’s

October 12, 2012

During an earlier insight, researchers found that a cup of coffee not only gives the much needed energy shot, but also prevents the onset of Alzheimer’s disease.

Researchers had earlier found that caffeine had the capacity of inhibiting formation of amyloid plaques in the brain. Now, they have gone a step further to find that caffeine has an important ability to block inflammation in the brain.

Researchers feel this discovery might lead to new drugs to prevent cognitive impairment.
